Islam honors women
Some of the pictures of Islam honoring women
After the father felt shame if he gave birth to a girl, he goes and then buries her alive (to kill her), Islam forbids this heinous act ( Altakwir) (8) And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked (9) For what sin she was killed) and to this day, female infanticide still occurs in India, China and other countries
Then he gave the father the reward of her upbringing, kindness to her, and her love, which is heaven and eternal bliss, which is in the interest of the daughter, whose father will be more eager to treat her kindly. And he fed them, gave them drink, and clothed them with his money, and they will be a shield for him from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.)
And she would not inherit, so he appointed her a share in the inheritance
He made her like a queen, who does not spend anything, but rather her husband, father or brother takes care of everything she desires
He made her like a queen, only her ihram can touch her
Make her a queen, so her body is not traded as a commodity used to lure people in advertisements to buy products
She promises her husband if he wrongs her and turns to his other wife that he will come on the Day of Resurrection, tilting one of his body parts (authentic hadith)
He gave her the right to divorce her husband
Her money is hers. Her husband does not have the right to take from him without her consent, and she is not obligated to spend from it on the marital home unless she desires
He revealed an entire surah in her name (An-Nisa) dealing with the legislation addressed to her.
Urge to be kind to her (your mother, then your mother, then your mother)
He made her righteousness a duty after the unification of God Almighty (ِAl Esraa 23. And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour.
He gave her the right - all the right - to choose and approve of her husband (the virgin is not married until she asks permission - an authentic hadith -)
He recommended her and said (Fear God regarding the two weak ones: the woman and the orphan - an authentic hadith -)
He addressed the husband and said to him: (228. And divorced women shall wait (as regards their marriage) for three menstrual periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allâh has created in their wombs, if they believe in Allâh and the Last Day. And their husbands have the better right to take them back in that period, if they wish for reconciliation. And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect) to what is reasonable, but men have a degree (of responsibility) over them. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise
And the Almighty said ( Alnisaa 19. O you who believe! You are forbidden to inherit women against their will; and you should not treat them with harshness, that you may take away part of the Mahr [3] you have given them, unless they commit open illegal sexual intercourse; and live with them honourably. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allâh brings through it a great deal of good.
He described her as the best of qualities in marriage, saying: (He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you might live in peace with them, and He made between you affection and mercy).
The Prophet said: (The Prophet said: (The best of you is the one who is nice and good with his women) and he said: (Women are equal to men) and he said: (And it is for them that you should give them some of your money and their clothes, and that is without giving them a favor.)
Omar Ibn Al-Khattab summarized this in what Abdullah Ibn Abbas narrated on the authority of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab that he said: (In the pre-Islamic era, we did not consider women as anything, so when Islam came and God mentioned them, we saw that they had a right on us) (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
Her money is free, if she gives it as charity, she has two rewards, and if she prevents it, he has no right to rob it.
Any attack on her without justification is punishable by the same as what he assaulted her.
His strength by the mandate and obedience to him is a jihad for the sake of God.
If he commands her to do good, she obeys him, and if he orders her to do something else, then there is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to the Creator.
And for it, the Prophet fought a war against Banu Qaynuqa.
And to defend it, death was martyrdom for the sake of God.
And for it, al-Mu'tasim moved his army to Amoriyah.
And for her reputation, God set the limit of slander eighty lashes.
And other images of honor and mercy
