One of them asked his sheikh, saying: Which is better, buying a sacrifice and slaughtering it, or distributing its amount to the poor ??
The Sheikh replied: First of all, ask these questions that have spread recently
As some people say: Leave the circumambulation of the Kaaba and circumambulate the poor.
And others say: Giving alms the price of the sacrifice is better than slaughtering it
Others say: A bite in a hungry mouth is better than building a thousand mosques.
. These words, whether you know or not, the purpose of them is to make Muslims feel ashamed of the apparent rituals in which the emblem of Islam appears and they are distinguished from others, or that whoever makes such statements is ignorant of the reality of religion, its wise rulings, and the order of priorities....
The poor exist in every age and in the era of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, to our time, and no one said such naive words, and one of the highest degrees of charity is giving charity and helping the poor
Rather, how do we see a person who adheres to the rituals of Islam by going to the House of God and offering the sacrifice, this is evidence that this person’s heart is full of faith and will not hide from helping the poor, and from the naivety of the questioner, he does not ask himself for the meat of the sacrifice where it goes and who is going around with it.
A questioner of this type will not give you examples like this
Why are the comparisons only between the Umrah, the sacrifice, the rituals of Islam and the building of mosques? And among the poor??!!
Why isn't it said don't buy meat twice a week and buy once a month and go around the poor!!!
Why not say: Do not drink cigarettes... and pay for them to the poor??!!!
Why not say: Leave the wedding halls and the exorbitant prices and roam around the poor?!!!!
Why not leave the resorts and picnics and roam around the poor?!!
Why spend money on luxury, singing, movies, series, matches, and the internet.... and don't circulate this money around the poor??!!
Why !!!! And why!!!!
Our question now is why don't you let us enjoy our rituals?
Why are you comparing two worships, both of which have merit?
It is as if people are being told to leave everything and be interested in one worship!!!!
These questions may be contemplated at night by those who plot against this religion, then they come out at the Muslims during the day, so the naive among them and those who are deceived by the appearance and splendor of the phrase and do not know the factors behind it of destroying the apparent and hidden rituals of Islam.
Moreover, most of those who repeat such phrases often do not circumambulate around the Kaaba, nor around the poor!!!!!
The summary of the answer to the question is that the sacrifice has merit and reward, so protect it and do not heed these calls that want to negate the rituals of Muslims.
And if the sacrifice is slaughtered, be keen on the poor for this amount, and distribute all or most of the sacrifice to the poor, or donate money to the poor and needy....
We are followers of the religion commanded by us with both, and the two of our rituals are keen on giving alms, helping the poor, and offering the sacrifice.
And practice all our rituals
So, if my heart is not full of oaths and I fast and pray and perform Hajj and Umrah, how can I repeat the verses of the command to give alms and their virtue over me as above, all the rituals of Islam are performed by the Muslim and panting behind them in order to obtain Paradise and draw closer to God and implement His commands
Verses calling for charity and helping the poor
Al-Munāfiqūn 10
وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَآ أَخَّرۡتَنِيٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
(10) And spend [in the way of Allāh] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be of the righteous."
Al-Baqarah 274
الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ 274Those who spend their wealth [in Allah 's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
Al-Hadīd 18
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلۡمُصَّدِّقَٰتِ وَأَقۡرَضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗا يُضَٰعَفُ لَهُمۡ وَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٞ كَرِيمٞ
(18) Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allāh a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward
Al-Balad
{فَلا اقتَحَمَ العَقَبَةَ * وَمَا أدرَاكَ مَا العَقَبَةُ * فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ * أَو إِطعَامٌ فِى يَومٍ ذي مَسغَبَةٍ * يَتِيماً ذَا مَقرَبَةٍ * أَو مِسكِيناً ذَا مَتْرَبةَ}.[٦]
11. But he has not attempted to pass on the path that is steep (i.e. the path which will lead to goodness and success).
12. And what will make you know the path that is steep?
13. (It is) freeing a neck (slave)[2]
14. Or giving food in a day of hunger (famine),
18. They are those on the Right Hand (i.e. the dwellers of Paradise),
